From time to time, customers or a member from our sales team will require an official quote to present to the client.

Convert the file into pdf before sending it to the customer
Once downloaded, open the excel file to start filling out the form.
Quote To: Enter customer information here (Name, contact details and address).
Reference: Any information pertaining to this quote goes here.
Date: Enter the date the quote was created.
Valid Until: Usually an expiry date should be 2 weeks out unless otherwise specified.
Term: Either COD or NET 30
Sales Person: Enter the salesperson’s name that the account belongs to.
Quote ID: A running increment of all the quotes previously issued (eg: Q-0047). You need to know where the last quote ended with. See Kevin for more details. If unavailable you can enter the date in the following format YYYYMMDD (20190319).
Once the above information has been completed you can start entering the product the quote is required for.
SKU: You can get the SKU of the product from RQ4. If the SKU does not exist in RQ4, enter the vendor SKU.
Qty: The amount the customer wishes to order for the above mentioned SKU.
Description: You can get the description for the related SKU from RQ4 as well.
Unit Price: The MSRP for the related SKU.
Line Total: Is the Unit Price x Qty
Sub Total: Is the total of all the Line Totals.
Sales Tax: Is dependent on where we are shipping the items to.
Discount: If applicable (Either pre-tax or post tax)
Grand Total: Sub Total + Sales Tax less discounts (pre/post tax)
Once all the products have been added, ensure the Terms and conditions are correct. If the quote is based on COD, remove line 2.
If the item is final sales such as modems and cameras, leave line 1. If the products are refundable then replace line 1 with the following 2 line items:
1. This is a special order and only unopened packages may be returned within 15 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee.
2. Original packaging materials must be included in excellent resell condition; otherwise return is not possible.
